Each resident who comes to live at Winash residential home has their own individual care needs.
We take the time to talk to you about the level of care you require. As residents spend time with us, it’s only natural that their care needs change and evolve. Our trained staff can spot the signs where a little extra help is needed and they adapt their care so that each person is always treated with dignity, while being fully supported to live well.
Our activities coordinators take time to collaborate with our residents to offer activities that they’re interested in. Whether it’s cooking, chess, book clubs, or something more unusual like play-reading or morris dancing, we will accommodate your hobbies.
We do everything we can to allow our residents to live as independently as possible. We have physical aids around the site to help with mobility, if you’re occasionally a little unsteady, we have a lift if stairs become a challenge.
Whenever you need them, our care team are on hand. You always have peace of mind that you won’t need to wait for assistance if you need support. Just press your call bell and a member of staff will be with you.
People often live with us for many years, but when a resident nears the end of their life, we can provide the specialist care they need. Our residents feel safe, surrounded by people they know, and staff who have expertise in understanding this specialist area of care.
Whatever your needs, we’re here to help and support you. We’d love you to visit and talk to our staff, so please don’t hesitate to contact us for a guided tour of our home.
